Mo and Slava Get Some Ice Time After All

Lincoln Park, MI - Busted! It's no secret that FNHC Commissioner La Package is displeased with the attendance of Mo and Slava at FNHC events this year. And to La Package's continued dismay a secret FNHC informant photographed the wayward DarkSiders logging ice time in a non-sanctioned, though ice-related outing.

"It's very disappointing," lamented the Commish, "these long-time DarkSiders don't seem to have the time or inclination to skate on Friday nights, but they do have time for a 3-day hiatus up north to fish through the ice. Ugh."

"Hockey-related!" hollered Slava when told of La Package's recent comments, "I mean we were on the ice weren't we?"

"That's right," Mo agreed, "we were definitely skating around out there on the slick ice on Mullett Lake this year."

"Skating my ass!," cursed La Package as he addressed the media about the dwindling attendance of the FNHC old-timers, "I see those ice creepers on their boots. Not a lot of smooth skating going to happen with them on your boots. But hell, they don't skate much when they do have their skates on anyway."

Mo is planning to make a return to the Lincoln Park Community Center for this week's skate, but Slava will miss again due to family obligations. "I told Package I'd be back next year for sure," said Slava, "it's my kid's Senior year and he's the leader of his Ohio State Champion team so no way I'm missing his Friday night games this year. What's Mo's excuse?"

"My excuse?" asked a visibly agitated Iron Orr. "No excuses from me. Just gotta get healthy and get my Friday night schedule cleared up. I'll put my attendance record up against Slava's any day."

When asked about the comments from the two AWOL DarkSiders, the FNHC Commissioner issued his official response: "With or without Mo and Slava, the FNHC will go on! See you tonight!"
