Eddie Shack asks FNHC for Reinstatement in Open Letter to League

Lincoln Park, MI - In a surprising FNHC development, Eddie Shack, the FNHC player formerly known as SpongeBob, has submitted an open letter to FNHC League Offices requesting reinstatement in the league for the upcoming 2010-2011 season. The official receipt of the letter was delayed because after a 5 year hiatus, no one at league offices realized the stature of the person requesting reinstatement into the league. Since my retirement from FHNC several years back, I have realized what the honor of playing for the Slava Cup and in the FHNC means. After winning the cup and taking it throughout Upper Michigan I believe I took all of that for granted. I ate more, drank more and slept more all of which kept me from being in shape to compete on the level FHNC players strive for. And it is true I have engaged in antagonizing Facebook postings such as the one I sent Iron Orr on his birthday calling him a hockey player ``wannabe.’’ His response that at least he was playing stuck a chord with me and began me on a path to self-betterment. Since then, I have list 60 lbs and been in an intense training regimen hoping for the chance to repay Orr in kindness once again compete in such an esteemed hockey organization. FNHC UPDATE

We are pleased to announce that the 2010 FNHC Golf Outing will take place on August 22 at 1:00pm. The host course this year will be the Carrington Golf Club. "One of the finest downriver, country club greens" noted Vunderkindt, "a true golfing experience with nice club house" added Package. Now we need to know if you can join us! The cost is only $35.00, this includes: golf, cart, gifts, entrance in all games, and the quality prizes that are our custom. We will have two "flights"...one for Members and one for Guests. We have room for some guests, especially those that have played at our event in the past are welcome back. PLEASE email me here before Friday August 13th if you (and a guest) can play. An email will be sent that week with the list of those that are "in".
